Wendy Hopkins is an alumni of The Second City Toronto MainStage and the London company. She co-created, wrote and directed the award winning series The Tournament, which the New York Times called "a rarity to be treasured". Wendy has written and produced 8 original pilots for television, 3 series for Comedy Central and served as story consultant on the award winning web series, Life of Mom. She's performed her stand up and one person shows across Canada, in the US and at the Melbourne Comedy Festival where her show made "Best of the Fest". As a director, Wendy has helmed over 20 episodes of television including the International Emmy Award winning series, Corner Gas and G-Spot. Perhaps most importantly though, Wendy has worked as a bouncer.
