Robin Duke

Robin Duke started taking classes at The Second City Toronto at the insistence of her friend, Catherine O’Hara. A character actor who specialized in talkative, often gauche characters, she replaced O’Hara on SCTV and then moved on to Saturday Night Live from 1981 to 1984, where she received an Emmy nomination for her work.

Duke has appeared in many television and film projects, including Club Paradise, Multiplicity, Stuart Saves His Family, Boston Common, North of 60, Hostage for a Day, Groundhog Day, I Love Trouble, Only You, I, Martin Short, Goes Home, Man Seeking Woman, and Schitt’s Creek.

She is also a member of the sketch troupe “Women Fully Clothed” along with Jayne Eastwood, Kathryn Greenwood, and Teresa Pavlinek.
