Baby Wants Candy, one of the most celebrated and popular comedy ensembles in the world, is thrilled to be landing for a limited engagement at Judy's Beat Lounge Theater. BWC has performed over 3000 improvised musicals all over the globe and, and has shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York as well as national and international touring companies.

After getting a single suggestion, the cast of six professional comedians asks the audience to choose a detective. Enjoy as they invent a tale of crime, secrets, and scandals right before your eyes. The performers will keep track of facts, follow leads, and conclude who is the murderer, all while you take in a comedy experience unlike any you’ve seen before. During the show, they’ll employ the tropes, character archetypes, and influences of Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Sherlock Holmes, Nick and Nora Charles, Encyclopedia Brown, and just a dash of Scooby-Doo.

ComedySportz is back and better than ever. Come see our new live experience, complete with laughter AND clapping. ComedySportz is a show for everyone - no matter what your age, race, religion, gender, sexuality…all are welcome, and all will laugh!

Come be in the audience for the funniest, most-interactive late night game show in Chicago. We'll pick two random audience members to join us on stage to play hilarious games, just like you would see on Hollywood Game Night - but with less production value. Tons of audience participation and possible prizes! To set expectations, prizes will also be funny. Grab a drink and some friends and come to our house party!

Join ComedySportz Chicago on Thursday for League Night! We've assembled our Minor League and Rec League programs together in one amazing night, so you can see our best and brightest in one place! Every Thursday will kick off with one of our four Rec League teams, and then our Minor League will close the night with a hilarious ComedySportz match. It's the perfect way to kick off your weekend with some laughter, and to see our future main stage players before they make it big.

Comedy supergroup Baby Wants Candy presents "Shamilton!", the Hamilton-inspired hip hop improvised musical created in 2016 in LA and playing to sold out crowds all over the place, including the Kennedy Center in DC, a national touring company and weekly sold out shows in New York and LA.

Join the Shamilton cast as they improvise an epic musical based on a historical figure or celebrity of your choosing...including Genghis Khan, Kim Kardashian, Mr. Rogers, or even basketball playing superdog Air Bud. You decide!

Welcome to our little town. It’s a mostly ordinary town, filled with mostly ordinary people. But every so often, one of our townspeople finds themselves TRAPPED IN A MUSICAL! They never know when it’s coming, because it’s up to YOU, our audience. Every performance you’ll pick the main character, you’ll give us the plot points, the finer details, and on the spot we’ll create a 60-minute musical about this seemingly ordinary townsperson. They’ll only be as ordinary as you make them, but we guarantee you’ll laugh as we improvise songs, dances and mayhem. So welcome to our little town - stay a while.

The Lockdown Improv Jam is a fun, welcoming and encouraging improv jam for students of the Second City Community held on the first and third Friday of every month. It's founded in Second City's "Yes And, Creativity & Respect" philosophy and is led by Second City improv instructors Janet Davidson & Brie Watson. It’s a place to learn and grow while staying safe at home. All levels of experience are welcome!
