SPECIAL V-DAY BWC SHOWS Feb 14 & 21 only! Regular BWC shows resume Feb 28!
World-famous Baby Wants Candy (“Don’t miss!” TimeOut Chicago ,“Truly amazing! Critics’ Pick”-New York Times,, ★★★★ “Brilliant” The Guardian) has created over 4000 musicals on the spot based on audience suggestions, including such insta-classics as Grandma Got Run Over by a Waymo, Fornite-mare on Elm Street and Mary Poppins Has Ebola.
This Valentine’s season we’re going full romance-mode—whether you’re in a couple, trying to get into one, or trying to get out of one.
Bring your date (or your situationship… or your best friend… or fully embrace your emotional support single era) and we’ll make up a musical about you.
You could walk in anonymous and leave as the star of an improvised love story. If you’re in a couple, share how you met, if you’re single, share what you’re lookin’ for in love. No matter who you are- share your dating nightmares. We’ll create a full musical romance (or glorious disaster) on the spot, with live band and Broadway-level vocals.(Don’t worry—we only call on you if you volunteer. If you’d rather sit back and watch the musical mayhem, that’s perfect too)
Can’t make Feb 14 or Feb 21? Unacceptable. Jkjkjk. Baby Wants Candy runs every Saturday at Second City—always brand new, so we’ve got your date nights planned all year.
Baby Wants Candy is a completely improvised, full band musical! Having performed over 4,000 improvised musicals to thousands of fans from Chicago to New York to Singapore to Scotland, this group not only performs in Chicago, New York, and LA but also tours internationally, including multiple sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!
