It’s finally ‘Deadline’-official.
Congratulations to David Rabinowitz, who took home an Academy Award for his exceptional work co-writing BlacKkKlansman with Spike Lee, Kevin Willmott, and Charlie Wachtel.
Their Best Adapted Screenplay win held the distinction of being the only moment of the broadcast to incite a rage tweet from non-Spike Lee fan and expert on race relations President Donald J. Trump.
Rabinowitz is graduate of The Second City Hollywood‘s Conservatory Program and completed the Directing Program in 2017.
Up next for the Oscar winner? Variety reports he and Watchel are at work developing a new drama series called Madness, set in the world of college basketball. Sounds like a (wait for it…wait for it….) slam dunk.
