About The Show

Merit Badge is a longform duo from Chicago, IL comprised of a Boy and Girl Scout who got older but didn't grow up. From a suggestion of a merit badge that doesn't yet exist, they perform a lively collage of characters from all walks of life. Merit Badge is Christopher George and Laurel Posakony.  In this Jamboree, Merit Badge will host two other improv teams for a jam-packed hour of on-the-spot comedy.

Merit Badge has performed at The Detroit Improv Festival, The Red Rocks Improv Festival, Denver Improv Festival, The Wasatch Improv Festival, Endurance Improv Festival, The Second City, iO Chicago, Under the Gun, CIC Theater, and will be featured at the Countdown Improv Festival in Tampa, FL in August.
