Pull up your seat and get ready to move your minds! Lateral Move bursts forth with hilarious takes on modern society. We showcase topical subjects with sketches that contain broader ideas people face in our time and veer into the absurd and silly because we just love comedy. Our show draws on the strengths of our diverse cast, providing distinctive viewpoints created from unique voices. From political satire to zany character pieces, this show proves to be more than a lateral move.

Season Never Finale is the improv show that refuses to let good Black TV die. We’re dedicating our upcoming season to Living Single, bringing back the iconic vibes of Khadijah, Synclaire, Max, Regine, Kyle, and Overton. Watch as we “premiere” a brand-new improvised episode — years later, un-rebooted, and entirely off the dome. We’re kicking the night off with an opening set by the hilarious Travis Harris to set the tone before the episode begins.

Somewhere between Earth and the cosmos, there lies in the stardust a quaint, quiet town: Endsville, where the locals tumble through their memories, reveling in their endless youth while quietly yearning to return to life as they once knew it. Come let the stardust fill your eyes at this abridged presentation of the new original musical by Kacey Creppy, and discover for yourself the nostalgia, beauty, love, and heartbreak that is Endsville.

A film festival for the terminally weird.

Join us for the first-ever SurREAL World film fest. This is geared toward DIY films in absurdist comedy. Watch a collection of shorts from the cream-of-the-comedy crop and enjoy an industry panel hosted by Britt Migs. Industry guests include Cinder Chou, Dana Michael, and more. Afterward, join us for a networking and cocktail hour at Second City’s bar directly outside the Black Box.

Hizo radio exitosamente en su país durante 10 años, hasta que fue forzado a salir del aire por los organismos de censura del gobierno venezolano. Desde ese entonces, hace comedia en Internet y por el mundo, con presentaciones agotadas por toda Europa, Latinoamérica y EEUU.

Compass Party is a night of improvisation and comedic acts put on by some of our most talented and up-and-coming improvisers from the Training Center.  Each ensemble presents a mix bag of short form and long form structured improv sets and is coached by one of our incredible faculty members!
