Condemned to a Life is a darkly funny, deeply human solo show about family, resilience, and the stories we&#8217;re told about ourselves. With humor, honesty, and a cast of expressive puppets portraying every other character, Amy recounts an unconventional childhood alongside her brother, a life-altering accident, and the forces that send their lives in dramatically different directions. Part memoir, part childlike imagination, the show examines the labels we inherit and the stories we come to believe about ourselves, asking whether we have the power to define ourselves, even when the world has already decided who we are.
