The Second City&#8217;s 114th Mainstage Revue Pandemonium, Please Hold is a loud, fast, and gloriously unhinged night of comedic mayhem. The Second City’s six-person cast cranks the amps and stage dives headfirst into the chaos with blistering sketch comedy, unpredictable improv, explosive live music, and absolutely zero chill. Cathartic and wildly funny, brace for pandemonium and join us for a night of full-volume hilarity. Come scream into the abyss with us.

Pandemonium, Please Hold

After getting a single suggestion, the cast of six professional comedians asks the audience to choose a detective. Enjoy as they invent a tale of crime, secrets, and scandals right before your eyes. The performers will keep track of facts, follow leads, and conclude who is the murderer, all while you take in a comedy experience unlike any you’ve seen before. During the show, they’ll employ the tropes, character archetypes, and influences of Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Sherlock Holmes, Nick and Nora Charles, Encyclopedia Brown, and just a dash of Scooby-Doo.

Super Scaries, Chicago’s favorite musical improv horror show is back with Cryptids!, a brand-new improvised musical about the mysterious and scientifically questionable (but legendary) creatures that go bump in the night…or in the woods. Cryptids! dives into rumor, legend, and folklore, spinning a brand-new tale each night about a totally made-up creature and the chaos it unleashes on the human world. From adorable abominations to town-destroying terrors, no beast is too weird, too cute, or too catastrophic. Will the Killer Kittenchicken become humanity’s new best friend? Or will Rexie the Red Cherry Toad doom an unsuspecting town? Equal parts spooky and ridiculous, Cryptids! is a musical comedy thrill ride about myth, fear, and who really gets to be called the monster.

Super Scaries Presents: CRYPTIDS!

4 professional actors meet to perform a Shakespeare play… but only after one of them takes at least 20mg of you know what, leading to a fun, twisted take on one of the Bard&#8217;s classics. In a nutshell, 4 actors + 20mg = anything can (and Will) happen!
