Laura Maynard was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee before moving to Chicago in 2015. She studied Comedy Writing and Performance at Columbia College Chicago, graduating in 2019. She can be seen improvising all over town with the iO Harold team Slice and independent team Cool Aunt.
