Jennifer Peepas is a writer and filmmaker in Chicago. Her comedy short, Meet In A Public Place, recently premiered at the Oakland Underground Film Festival. She teaches film and video production and screenwriting courses at Columbia College and runs the popular advice blog CaptainAwkward.com. She has published personal essays in Story Club Magazine and at The Archipelago and is a frequent performer at live lit shows like Story Club, Guts & Glory, This Much Is True, That’s All She Wrote, and Story Sessions.
