Jan Caruana, a mainstay of Toronto stages, is best known for her quick mind and quicker wit as an improviser. She co-wrote and performed in two Second City Toronto revues (The Meme-ing of Life and We Can Be Heroes) where, according to one critic, she “…attack(ed) every cliché, leaving them hilariously pleading for mercy on the floor.” She is a multiple award winning actor and writer, and her work can be seen internationally on screens big and small. She can often be heard on CBC Radio across Canada saying things that are just shy of being too rude to be on the radio.
