Angela Bullard has been a Chicago actor since relocating from Missouri in 1998. Recent performances include TimeLine Theatre’s productions of Paradise Lost as Bertha Katz and in the multiple Joseph Jefferson Citation winning production of This Happy Breed as Aunt Sylvia, for which she shares a Jeff Citation for Best Ensemble. Previously, Ms. Bullard performed as Mom in the critically acclaimed, long-running original comedy Leaving Iowa at the Royal George Theatre and in the show’s touring company. Angela was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Citation for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Monica Reed in Bailiwick Repertory Theatre’s production of Present Laughter. While an ensemble member at Boxer Rebellion Theatre, her roles included Vangey Lovel in TRUE CRIMES, Sara Jane Moore in ASSASSINS and Florence Lancaster in THE VORTEX. Other favorite roles include: Mama in Portrait of a Shiksa at Live Bait, Queen Clytemnestra in The Flies at Trap Door, Kate Keller in All My Sons with Sense of Urgency, Pat in County Fair with The Gift Theatre Company and Mrs. Lovett in Sweety Todd at CEC. Angela has repeatedly won top honors in the St. Sebastian Monologue Competition, held annually in Chicago. Ms. Bullard holds a Masters in Theatre from Missouri State University.
