Amanda grew up in Colorado and then moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern, where she majored in theatre and was a member of the improv groups Mee-Ow and Your Imaginary Friends. After graduation, Amanda performed in a bunch of plays, while studying improv at iO and then iOWest and the Chris Barnes Comedy Dojo. Amanda is also a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and The Open Fist Theatre Company. Some favorite credits include: The Gary Plays, Stage Door (LA Weekly “Best Actress” nominee), Room Service (LA Weekly “Best Actress” nominee), A Wolf Inside The Fence, The Normal Child (“Best of Fringe” finalist), Second City This Week and The:nv:s:ble Play (director). Film/TV credits include Scare Tactics (recurring), Alien Abduction and Held (writer/director). When not performing, Amanda is probably selling houses and thinking about how great it is that dogs are willing to hang out with people.
