Summer Comedy Camp (Grades 9-12)

Want to spend your summer laughing, creating, and trying something totally different? Summer Comedy Camp is The Second City’s signature program for teens who want to have fun, meet new people and build confidence while learning how comedy actually works.

You will play improv games, create scenes, and learn how to tell stories that are funny, honest and uniquely yours. Along the way, you will build skills like listening, teamwork, creative thinking, and onstage confidence, all in a supportive, low-pressure environment where everyone is encouraged to take risks and try new things.

Most mornings focus on improvisation, with afternoons exploring comedy writing and specialty skills like sketch, satire or physical comedy. There are breaks built into the day, and every session includes new activities, challenges and plenty of laughs.

No experience is required. Just show up ready to play, create and have a great time.

Campers must be enrolled in Grade 9 (or above) by September 2026
