Have something to say and want to make people laugh? Stand-Up Comedy Camp helps teens learn how to write and perform their own stand-up comedy in a fun, encouraging environment.
You will generate material through writing exercises, learn how to shape personal stories into jokes, and practice performing with confidence. Along the way, you will explore observational humor, one-liners, act-outs and stage presence, with lots of opportunities to test material and get supportive feedback.
The camp ends with a daytime showcase for friends and family, where each camper performs up to five minutes of original stand-up material.
This camp is great for teens who like writing, performing solo and sharing their perspective through comedy.
Campers must be enrolled in Grade 9 (or above) by September 2026.
