Designed for returning campers who have already completed a week of Improv Camp – or for young performers with previous training from The Second City – this two-week program offers the chance to dive deeper and further develop their improv skills.
In partnership with The Second City, one of the world’s most renowned comedy schools, campers will have the unique opportunity to travel from Harbourfront Centre to the nearby Second City Training Centre, completing their camp program in a professional, real-world setting.
This program deepens existing skills and introduces more complex scene work, with a light introduction to the foundations of sketch comedy writing.
Advanced Improv campers will perform twice (once each Friday) and explore how to generate original comedic material in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Looking for programs for teens? Campers entering Grades 9–12 (ages 14–18) are encouraged to check out Second City’s teen Comedy Camps, designed specifically for high school students ready to take their improv and sketch comedy skills to the next level.

Registration for all Second City Improv Camps for campers aged 7-14 is managed by the Harbourfront Camps team. Online registration is open 24/7.
