This advanced class is designed for improvisers who want to take their longform scenework to the next level. Building on the foundation of Improv 5 (or equivalent), you’ll focus on deepening ensemble connection, sharpening your point of view, and making stronger, more intentional choices onstage.
You’ll explore the kinds of longform techniques and performance rhythms sometimes seen in the third act of the Mainstage, at Compass Party, and in HouseCo sets – where quick thinking meets emotional honesty and strong scene work drives the form forward. Weekly classes focus on edits, pacing, relationship, and ensemble timing, while also giving space to experiment with different structures and themes.
With individualized feedback, active rep work, and a final showcase, this course supports experienced players in refining their voice and building confidence in front of an audience.
