After getting a single suggestion, the cast of six professional comedians asks the audience to choose a detective. Enjoy as they invent a tale of crime, secrets, and scandals right before your eyes. The performers will keep track of facts, follow leads, and conclude who is the murderer, all while you take in a comedy experience unlike any you’ve seen before. During the show, they’ll employ the tropes, character archetypes, and influences of Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Sherlock Holmes, Nick and Nora Charles, Encyclopedia Brown, and just a dash of Scooby-Doo.

Duel Citizens is a fast-paced comedy spectacle stacked with razor-sharp satire, hilarious songs, ridiculous characters and, of course, the signature improv comedy that The Second City is world famous for. Well, on Saturdays at 2pm at the Second City, it’s the kids’ turn to run the world! In this high-energy and fast-paced sketch and improv show, kids give all the ideas and even get the chance to get onstage! *Grown-ups are absolutely allowed because kids can’t drive or pay for tickets (the Tooth Fairy has not kept up with the pace of inflation.)

Our cast turns audience-suggested parties into long form improv extravaganzas. Each week, one of our performers takes the reins as the party host, leading you through the celebration. Meanwhile, our quirky characters stop at nothing to ensure they get exactly what they want out of the party.

Girl Party!

The Infinite Wrench is a dynamic, mind-bending barrage of 30 original plays that the NY Neo-Futurists try to perform within a single hour. Each play offers something different, be it funny, profound, elegant, disgusting, topical, irrelevant, terrifying, or a song. All are truthful and tackle the here-and-now, inspired by the lived experiences of the performers. With new plays and new combinations of plays every performance, The Infinite Wrench is the Neo-Futurists’ ongoing and ever-changing attempt to shift the conventions of live performance and challenge the fourth wall head-on.
