Ashley Blair

ASHLEY BLAIR / Ensemble (she/her) is beyond thrilled to join the first ever Second City Mainstage cast in New York! Ashley is a trained ballerina and singer from Texas. She’s a Severn Darden Graduate Program alum and a long-time student and performer with The Second City Chicago and the Annoyance Theatre. She is a former producer of Holy F*ck Comedy Hour and the writer and director of Boyband the Musical. She would like to thank her family, friends, cats and Cole for their love and support. Ben Rameaka

BEN RAMEAKA / Ensemble (he/him) an actor and improviser that has been performing in and around NYC since the early aughts. Some TV and Film include Broad City, At Home With Amy Sedaris, Blue Bloods and Martin Scorsese’s Wolf Of Wall Street. He lives in Brooklyn with his dog Kurt Russell.

Yazmin Ramos

YAZMIN RAMOS / Ensemble (she/her) is a Chicago native who most recently wrote and performed with The Second City National Touring Company (Mighty Mighty BlueCo!). Second City Theatricals include: The Revolution Will Be Improvised at the John F. Kennedy Performing Arts Center in Washington D.C. and The Second City’s She The People Tour in Boston at the Huntington Theatre Company and San Diego Rep. Other Chicago credits include: The Holy Fuck Comedy Hour (AnnoyanceTheatre), Burlesque is More (Annoyance Theatre), Hitch*Cocktails (High Stakes Productions). She has also worked as a staff writer/on screen talent for MeTV’s Toon In With Me and is a 2018 NBC Bob Curry Fellowship Recipient. Drew Reilly

DREW REILLY / Ensemble (he/him) trained at the Second City Conservatory in Chicago where he also performed on several iO Harold teams. As part of the two-person sketch group Jim and Melissa he has written and performed original sketch revues that went on to Austin SketchFest, Portland Fringe, NYC SketchFest, Miami Improv Festival and others. He is a teaching artist at the Institute of Collaborative Education in the East Village. OFF-BROADWAY: Capt. Lombard in And Then There Were None, Callum in Ectoplasm. Jordan Savusa

JORDAN SAVUSA / Ensemble (he/him) hails from the Great Aloha State of Hawai’i and is very excited to perform in the first ever revue at Second City in Brooklyn! Starting out as a standup comedian for The Laugh Factory in Hawaii, he moved to the mainland to pursue a career in comedy and has never looked back. He has performed at io Chicago, the Annoyance Theatre and at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. In Chicago, he has been a part of three wonderful mainstage theater revues: Do You Believe In Madness?, Happy To Be Here, and Together at Last, as well as E.T.C. theater’s Great Altercations, Eat Pray Bigfoot in Love, and critically acclaimed Oh! The Places You’ll Glow! He is a proud card-carrying member of Actors Equity Association, is represented by Grossman & Jack Talent, and managed by Emily Herrell at Like-Minded Management! Jacklyn Uweh

JACKLYN UWEH / Ensemble (she/her) is an actor, writer, and director. Born and raised in Stockton, CA, Jacklyn started performing in local community theater productions. While at UC Irvine, she double-majored in Film & Media and Drama. Simultaneously she found her comedic voice as a founding member of UCI’s sketch ensemble, The Soulstice League. A performer at heart, Jacklyn’s stage credits include Hairspray (Chance), Striking 12 (Chance), SC Tour Co., and the 2020 CBS Showcase. She’s been spotted in national commercials for McDonald’s, Plenity, and Cricket Wireless and lent her voice to Paladins and Wondery Media. Production Team

JEN ELLISON / Director & Head of Creative (she/they) is a Chicago writer, director, and performer. As a resident director for The Second City Jen has overseen all three National Touring Companies, directed Apes of Wrath for e.t.c., and the Jeff Award Nominated Mainstage Do the Right Thing, No Worries, If Not. Other directing credits include Collaboraction, Trap Door Theatre, and The Neo-Futurists, where she is an artistic associate. Jen teaches screenwriting at DePaul University and is a member of the Comedy Writing and Performance Faculty at Columbia College Chicago. Dave’s #1 fan-crush. Follow @jenjen1138 pretty much everywhere.

 

ALAN KLIFFER / Associate Director & Artistic Director (he/him) is originally from Canada, and has been producing, writing, directing and teaching comedy for over twenty years. He recently served as Artistic Director of Asylum NYC, where he helped to launch the award winning Off-Broadway sensation Titaniqué. In addition, Kliffer has produced industry audition showcases for Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, and Just For Laughs, as well as award winning plays and musicals. Aside from his work in New York, Alan has produced and directed shows in Toronto, Los Angeles, London and Edinburgh. Kliffer’s most recent project has been developing a free National high school improv program with the New York City Department of Education. 

 

JEFF BOUTHIETTE / Music Director  (they/them) is incredibly excited to be a part of Second City’s first New York revue! Most recently, Jeff served as musical director for two Chicago mainstage revues: Do the Right Thing, No Worries if Not and Together at Last. Jeff has worked with the Second City since 2004, including serving as musical director for the Touring Company, at sea aboard the Norwegian Spirit and the Norwegian Gem, and with the Training Center, where they were also the Head of the Music Program for a decade. Jeff is a composer and lyricist, and their recent musical Mary Rose was produced by Black Button Eyes Productions in Chicago and nominated for a Joseph Jefferson award for Best New Work. Jeff would like to thank their husband Allen for all his love and support.

 

KAYLA FREEMAN / Stage Manager, Associate Lighting Designer & Prop Designer (she/her) is thrilled to be fulfilling a lifelong dream of joining Second City! She has been lucky to spend the last decade working at the intersections of tech theatre, comedy, and creative arts therapy. Kayla is an advocate for accessibility in the arts and is excited by exploring how comedy impacts politics and social progress. Alumni of the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas, Concordia University, and NYU. MARC KIMELMAN / Choreographer Originally from Toronto, Marc is the associate choreographer for the Tony-award winning Jagged Little Pill, Broadway’s A Bronx Tale, the Kennedy Center’s Next to Normal, and assistant choreographer for Broadway’s revival of Jesus Christ Superstar. He has choreographed Saturday Night Fever, Billy Elliot, RENT, Play It Cool and The Apple Boys (Off-Broadway) and Once on this Island (Dora Award for Outstanding Choreography). TV/Film credits include: Disney Plus’ World’s Best and Degrassi: The Next Generation. Marc was movement consultant for Vogue magazine (Annie Leibovitz, Charlize Theron) and has worked with Katy Perry, NYC Ballet, Neil Young and Chaka Kahn. @kimelman

 

MIKE MROCH / Scenic Designer (he/him) is a New York based film & theater director, designer, manager, & producer. KYLE ANDERSON / Lighting Designer (he/him) was resident Lighting Designer and Technical Director at The Second City for many years. TIFFANY WOOD / Stylist (she/her) is thrilled to have served as the Mainstage stylist for The Second City this season. Based in New York, Tiffany is a versatile freelance wardrobe stylist with a background in styling for live television, promotional campaigns, and sketch comedy. Among her notable achievements is her work on “One Shot with JB Smooth” featured on MSG Networks for Seasons 1 and 2, where she styled and supervised all wardrobe needs. MATT PRIGGE / Producer (he/him) is thrilled to be producing The Second City Brooklyn’s inaugural sketch revue. Before starting with The Second City, Matt served as Producing Artistic Director at The Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT NYC), after producing dozens of sketch shows at the theater. Matt’s eclectic producing background includes commercials, narrative short films, audiobooks, web series, and campaign ads. He’s also an experienced arts educator, who has taught hundreds of NYC public school students through organizations such as The Story Pirates. Matt is a proud alumnus of Ithaca College’s Theater  Department, and studied at the Moscow Art Theatre through The National Theater InstituteThanks and love to Casey and to “Pop Rock.”

 

KATIE COYLE / Associate Producer (she/her) is so excited to be a part of The Second City! Born and raised in Alaska, she took the typical Alaskan path by moving to New York City and working as a Story Logger on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. A tale as old as time! She previously also worked on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Queer Eye, Love & Marriage: Huntsville, and Search Party. Love to her family and friends!

 

KURT CRUZ / Technical Director (he/him) is a musician, comedian, and Technical Director. Previously, he was the Technical Director at the Upright Citizens Brigade – Hell’s Kitchen and Caveat NYC. When he’s not behind the tech booth, you can find him performing improv with his UCB Lloyd team, The Board, Asian AF, and Third Party. SEBASTIAN HERNANDEZ / Tech Coordinator (they/them) is the Tech Coordinator at Second City NY, as well as an AV technician for hire who has designed lights/sounds for Steven Castillo, Stamptown, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and numerous other shows around New York City and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Sebastian is the host of Technical Difficulties, a variety show where the tech messes with the performers. Sebastian is also the host of Mr. Mash, an alt comedy variety mic at Pine Box Rock Shop, and the Gay Gam, a queer improv jam at Brooklyn Comedy Collective. You can find Sebastian either onstage doing their kooky jokes or behind the boards at any given show in the five boroughs. Sebastian would like to thank Kurt Cruz, Max Bank, Alan Kliffer, Julian Hernandez, the entire Second City staff, and Summers Askew and their family, which exists.

Tristan Lee Griffin

TRISTAN LEE GRIFFIN (he/him) is a NYC-based comedic actor and writer, originally from Rome, Georgia. From 2017-2020, he was a house sketch comedy performer at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre.  In 2019, Tristan performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal as a New Face: Characters. He’s very excited to be part of Second City’s NYCo cast. Tristan’s acting credits include: Dickinson, White House Plumbers, That Damn Michael Che, American Horror Story, WeCrashed, The Politician, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Intern.

Patrick McCartney

PATRICK MCCARTNEY (he/him) is an actor and director from New York City. He moved to Chicago when he was 18 to be a part of the Second City and is beyond thrilled to be an actor at its first NYC location. He has been a part of just about every major improv theater in one way or another for almost 20 years. When not at Second City NYC Patrick can be seen improvising with his duo partner Jenny Bareilles, teaching acting and improv classes and directing “Lifestyle” a new live show for Hyperobject Industries. He dedicates this and every performance to the memory of his mother Nancy who loved to laugh. IG: @thepatrickmac

KIHRESHA REDMOND

KIHRESHA REDMOND (she/her) is a Cleveland native. She has been immersed in the world of improvisation and comedy since 2016. She has studied improv and sketch at Florida Studio Theatre, The Peoples Improv Theatre, and with various instructors (including Stacy Smith, Joe Bill, Will Luera, etc). She received her BFA in Acting from Ohio University. You may have recently seen her in Titan Theatre Co production of Genesis. When Kihresha is not on stage, you’ll probably find her playing a co-op RPG video game, cooking a gourmet meal, or deep in a true crime podcast. Colin Rourke

COLIN ROURKE (he/him) Hailing from Chicago, Colin Rourke is an actor and writer who has trained under and performed for The Second City, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, iO Theater and Logan Square Improv. He’s been featured in Buzzfeed and Comedy Central’s “The Gag” and was selected as one of the creators to watch at the 2022 NY Comedy Festival, along with his sketch team “Please Stop Crying”. You can catch him improvising weekly with his best friends “The Good Time” at BCC, and follow him on social: @ballin_rourke. He wants to give a shout out to his nieces and nephew, even though they cannot read yet. Oh well, Uncle Colin loves you!

Miranda Rozas

MIRANDA ROZAS (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based improviser, musician, and actress. Originally from Louisiana (and she won’t shut up about it), Miranda moved to Chicago where she trained and performed with The Second City, the iO Theater, Logan Square Improv, and CIC theater for 6 years. When she’s not performing with Second City, you can catch her improvising every Thursday night with “The Good Time” at 7pm at BCC, or around the city singing and jamming original songs with her band “Spare Room”. Winnie Stack

WINNIE STACK (she/her) moved to New York in 2019 and was cast on the Upright Citizens Brigade Maude Sketch team “Peaches.” In 2021 she developed her one-woman comedy show “@JennaFischer” which features original journal entries from her tween years about how “The Office” actress was her gay awakening. In the last two years Winnie has performed “@JennaFischer” to sold out audiences in NY and LA, and the show received a rave review in The Brooklyn Daily Eagle. Winnie performs with her sketch groups “One Bad Egg” and “Sleepover” throughout New York, as well as her improv team “Scubsy.” Winnie is thrilled and honored to be a part of the “NYCO” team and perform the best of Second City sketches! (She’s actually so excited that when she heard the news she was cast she forgot where she was and ran directly into a wall and broke her toe! It still hurts sometimes!)

MEL RYAN / Stage Manager (she/her) is thrilled to be working with the inaugural production of The Second City Brooklyn. She is a New York City based stage manager who has worked from Broadway to the high seas on Norwegian Cruise Lines. She would like to thank her partner Bradley and her family for all their unwavering love and support. And thank you to The Second City for welcoming me into the family!


JONATHAN WAGNER / Musical Director (he/him) is an actor/musician based in NYC. He made his Broadway debut in 2015 as the original understudy for “Dewey Finn” in School of Rock: the musical, performing the role over 140 times. Off-Broadway and Regional Credits include: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Tuacahn – 1st Regional Wonka!), #DateMe (Westside), 25th Annual …Spelling Bee (TATC), The Last 5 Years (Steel Beam), High Fidelity (Route 66) and The People vs Friar Laurence (Second City/Steppenwolf 2nd Stage).Jonathan has been with The Second City on and off since 2001, both teaching and music directing various “Co’s” (including: two of their National Touring Companies, SC Cincy: Pride and Porkopolis, two tours on NCL Second City at Sea and the Severn Darden Graduate Program). He was the MD for the Chicago Improv Festival and their house team Storybox, from 2006-2010. He has also music directed improv teams Baby Wants Candy, ComedySportz (Chicago and NYC), RIFF, Mansical, GULP! and Anarchy: the Improvised Rock Opera. Jonathan has also composed and collaborated on several musicals. His most recent project is a musical adaptation of Ryan Andrews’ illustrated fairy tale, Sarah and the Seed with book-lyricist Juliet Mazer-Schmidt.
