The Second City is excited to host our 2026 General Auditions on April 13, 14, 15 with callbacks on the 17th. To be considered for a slot, you must submit your headshot and resume to the link below, anytime between March 6th, starting at 10:00 AM and March 9th. The link will close at 10:00 AM on March 9th. Any submissions sent before or after the designated times will not be considered.
You must be a graduate of an improv and sketch comedy institution (i.e. The Second City Conservatory, iO, UCB, The Pit, The Magnet, The Annoyance Theater, etc.) to be considered for an audition slot. Improv and sketch comedy experience is a plus.
If offered the role of understudy, you must reside in Chicago, IL. We do not pay a relocation fee.

Any submissions sent before or after the times designated above will not be considered.
If you have conflicts with these dates, there will be another round of auditions in 2027. Those dates are to be determined.
