Spotlight at The Second City is a monthly series from Taylor Hreljac & Gabe Meacher celebrating the best in Toronto sketch comedy and the next generation of comedic voices. For Pride Month, Spotlight features a lineup of bold, hilarious, and unapologetically queer comedy from some of the city’s funniest performers.

June’s PRIDE EDITION features Shrimp Mocktail, seen at Sketch to Death and Sketch at Rivoli, She/They, seen at Toronto Sketch Fest, and recent winners of the JFL Award at Montreal Sketchfest and AC Birch, a Sketch to Death finalist who has also performed at Toronto Sketch Fest. Finally the night is headlined by Tyra Banda, a Second City alumna who has performed in Second City’s “Improv All Stars”, and a part of Toronto’s dearest improv troupe, Little Miss Normal.
