Chorelord

A panel game show where comedians compete in ridiculous tasks! After sold out shows across the city, the Chorelord (Canadian Screen Awards triple-nominee Brandon Hackett) has once again summoned four of Toronto’s funniest performers to endure his silly and embarrassing challenges, for no other reason than his (and your) desire to be entertained.
Inspired by the global television phenomenon “Taskmaster”, the comedians have no idea what they’ll be asked to do, but they’ll (mostly) try their best. With the help of the Chorelord’s assistant (Brian Edwards), the contestants’ efforts across pre-recorded and live challenges will be judged and their worth as human beings scored. Past editions of the show included dollar store makeovers, successfully navigating Toronto’s underground PATH, diamond heists, and trips to Nashville, Tennessee.
Featuring Bita Joudaki, Brendan Kane, Rhys Naylor, and Nicole Passmore, this one-night-only show features a cast of hilarious writers and performers whose collective credits include The Second City, Just for Laughs, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Beaverton, Because News, David Lynch’s Seinfeld, CBC, Children Ruin Everything, Run the Burbs, Baroness von Sketch Show, TallBoyz, Bad Dog Featured Players, the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Mrs Beast, Little Miss Normal, The Sketchersons, and comedy classic Murdoch Mysteries. If that list doesn’t do anything for you, I don’t know what will.
