<p>“Joey and Ron” is the sugar-sweet musical that takes you back to the summer of 1969. All-American teen garage band Ronny and the Sugars have big dreams of winning the Battle of the Bands. However, the real world is encroaching on their cartoonish, four-color life: There’s a secret love that must be hidden, a band member’s suddenly called to the front lines of war, and a curmudgeonly teacher’s on the case to stop Ronny&#8217;s “bubble entendres” in their tracks! “Joey and Ron” is a love letter to the golden era of gum. Fans of The Archies, The Monkees, and deep-cut groups like the 1910 Fruit Gum Company will feel right at home in this bright, bubbly world. </p>
<p>This special reading is in honor of author Louie Pearlman’s birthday, and all proceeds will benefit Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. If you ever wanted to hear the true power of a catchy melody and some Na Na Na’s, shake on down to The Second City Blackbox!</p>

<div class="ewa-rteLine">This show is 21+. Judgy LIVE is a messy, wildly fun night where the internet’s favorite judge, Amber Singletary, finally takes her courtroom to the stage. Guests arrive as “the jury” &#8211; but they’ll also be the ones getting judged.</div>
<div class="ewa-rteLine">Upon entry, the audience submits their own stories, petty grievances, and chaotic confessions via QR code. After a stand-up set from Judge Amber, the courtroom opens: she pulls audience submissions on the spot, hears the case, and delivers a decisive verdict: “guilty” or “innocent.”</div>
<div class="ewa-rteLine">The night builds to a Supreme Court Case, where Amber puts two comics on the stand to argue their most unhinged dispute, with the jury weighing in before she hands down the final ruling.</div>
<div class="ewa-rteLine">It’s loud, it’s chaotic, it’s hilarious &#8211; one big, unforgettable, and deeply unserious trial.</div>

Impossible New York Stories

<p>The Infinite Wrench is a dynamic, mind-bending barrage of 30 original plays that the NY Neo-Futurists try to perform within a single hour. Each play offers something different, be it funny, profound, elegant, disgusting, topical, irrelevant, terrifying, or a song. All are truthful and tackle the here-and-now, inspired by the lived experiences of the performers. With new plays and new combinations of plays every performance, The Infinite Wrench is the Neo-Futurists’ ongoing and ever-changing attempt to shift the conventions of live performance and challenge the fourth wall head-on.</p>
