Thanksgiving Leftovers

Thanksgiving Leftovers is a sketch comedy show that celebrates
the beautiful mess of life’s sloppy seconds. Each week, Thanksgiving Leftovers serves up sketches about the overlooked, the undervalued, and the wonderfully imperfect. From the backup friend who shows up when plans fall through to the lonely bridge troll, Leftovers mines comedy from life’s consolation prizes.

This show is for anyone picked last in gym class, goes for the clearance rack first in a Ross Dress For Less, or understands that the dog is the best part of any apartment party. Our ensemble brings warmth and authenticity to a show that will leave you more fulfilled than an actual Thanksgiving dinner.

Improv,
Characters, scenes, and songs created on the spot by our ensemble and based on your suggestions. You never know what might happen next...and neither do they! An improv show at The Second City is a lively, interactive event featuring the best improvisers in the world.
Sketch Comedy
A sketch is a short, scripted comedy scene. Think Key and Peele or SNL. Some people might call it a "skit," but we never do. Chicago is the home of modern sketch comedy, and today, you can experience it at all Second City locations.
