Ann Pornel

Ann Pornel graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree, which she has zero intention of using. She is also a five-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee and an alumna of the Second City. When she’s not spending her nights at 51 Mercer Street, you can catch her improvising as part of powerhouse super group Squad Goals, in Bad Dog Theatre’s Hook Up, or doing sketch with The Flirty Boys. She’s written for and can be seen in CBC’s runaway hit Baroness Von Sketch Show, CBC Radio’s Because News, and this fall, you can see her on the long-running Canadian staple 22 Minutes. She’s performed twice at NBC’S Break Out Comedy Festival, JFL 42, and was named “2017’s Performer of the Year” by My Entertainment Awards. Love and thanks to her parents, friends and all of the Toronto Blue Jays, especially Jose Bautista, even though he’s not on the team any more. Instagram: @glampornel Twitter: @annpornel
