I was raised on a farm in central Kansas where I spent my summers cleaning out wheat bins and driving tractors. I still go back every June to drive the combine for wheat harvest. I came to Los Angeles by way of Chicago, where I spent six years training and performing at The Second City, iO, and ActOne Studios, among others. I spend the majority of my free time at The Second City Hollywood performing in various groups, shows, and Second City Network videos. I was honored to be cast in the very first The Best of The Second City revue on the Hollywood stage, which wrapped in July 2012. I collect vintage art pottery and B-movie posters, have a wicked volleyball serve, and make a mean apple pie – the key is oil and milk for the crust not Crisco, seriously.
