Jimmy Tomasello, aka Jimmy T., has taught thousands of students over the years at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music where he currently manages the Guitar Program. He plays a variety of styles working with students of all ages. In a former incarnation he worked with David Shepherd, Del Close, Nate Herman and other luminaries of the improv genre. Over the years he has coached Paul Dinello and members of Baby Wants Candy. Rumor has it Jimmy taught a class on Elvis Costello tunes attended by an unknown Tina Fey.
