Ed Garza

Improv

Ed Garza is a graduate of The SCTC Conservatory. He has directed several companies including: Salsation, Theatre Building Chicago, Midtown, and Diane Herrera's New York premier of The Job. Ed wrote and performed in the original production of GayCo's, Whitney Houston, We Have A Problem!, as well as, Everyone's Coming Out Rosie! (both revues received the After Dark Award for Best Ensemble Performance), and five other GayCo revues - performing throughout the U.S. and in Amsterdam. He recreated his original choreography for GayCo's 2008 remount of Whitney at the Center on Halsted. He has been a faculty member of SCTC for fifteen years and teaches theatre at Francis W. Parker School. He recently filmed an episode of The Chicas Project for Mun2.
