Amanda Tate is a trained actress born and raised in West Hollywood, California. She earned her BFA in Theater Arts from Stephens College and is a proud graduate of both The Second City Training Center Hollywood and iO West. Whether performing weekly in Cherry at iO West, or in the Second City House Enselmbles at Second City Hollywood, Amanda’s passion for Improv has carried her to the Chicago Improv Festival, Austin’s Out of Bounds Festival, The San Francisco Improv Festival, Los Angeles Improv Festival and The Del Close Marathon in NYC. Her short Book It was a finalist in The Create-a-Series Contest for Oxygen Network and she appeared in the Adam McKay produced dark comedy Fully Loaded – winner of the Audience Favorite Feature at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.
