Improv 3 takes the character work from Improv 2 and places it in the context of other key elements of dynamic scenes: who/what/where, beginnings & middles, platforms, setting, intro to tilts/routine breaking, and heightening.

Key Concepts
Character Development:
Enhance character creation by applying technical structure to scenes, such as heightening tension, raising stakes, introduction to tilts/routine breaking, etc..
Dynamic Scenes:
Explore elevated scene structures and apply new concepts to build on the foundation of games and character creation.
Ensemble-Based:
Students will use teamwork to generate ideas and support ensemble members in improv scenes.
