Improv for Clinicians is led by a licensed therapist trained in improv. This class engages mental health clinicians in exercises that highlight improv skills that perfectly translate into creating a supportive, creative, open minded approach to therapy. This workshop focuses on patience, non-judgment, active listening, self awareness, collaboration with clients, and adapting in the moment. In addition to learning through improv, clinicians are also provided improv exercises that can be used with clients in both individual and group settings. This program is also great opportunity to meet other clinicians and share techniques and best practices. In taking this class, participants will be provided 3 CEUs provided by Cathedral Counseling Center.
Improv for Clinicians meets for one three-hour session.
