PAY RATE: $17.60/hour

PAY CLASS: Part-Time

REPORTS TO: Venue Experience Manager

Venue Experience Representative

Venue Experience Representatives play a critical role in ensuring our patrons have a seamless and positive experience from the moment they enter the venue until the moment they leave. They are attentive, providing exceptional customer service to patrons and providing timely responses to inquiries.

 

Role Responsibilities

Sales

  • Sell, refund, and exchange tickets in-person
  • Answer questions regarding Training Centre curriculum and register Training Centre students and/or volunteers
  • Sell Second City merchandise including gift cards
  • Collect accurate patron data with the intention of feeding leads into the marketing pipeline
  • Assist Group Sales by booking groups of 19 or less
  • Perform initial data collection and screen for Second City Works clients

Administrative Duties

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests within the venue, providing guidance, support and issue resolution in real time
  • Cover reception duties, including opening the gate, welcoming patrons to the space, and answering questions in-person at the Box Office
  • Create door lists and scan in patrons for shows in our theatres, working closely with the Front of House team
  • Assist with Box Office administrative needs, including but not limited to show cancellation emails and calls
  • Report any customer service issues for patrons and/or students to appropriate management contacts
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Have flexible availability (including nights and weekends), minimum of 3-4 days per week
  • Demonstrated expertise with English language communication – both written and verbal
  • Be comfortable working autonomously and productively in both slow and fast-paced conditions
  • Preferred, but not required: Have basic working knowledge of a CRM, preferably Salesforce
