The Second City in Chicago is looking to hire part time Box Office Associates. This position will require the associate to assist with stocking and displaying merchandise, as well as selling tickets and running the will call window. The position is part time, requiring around 16 hours a week with possibility to pick up additional hours.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will have the following:

  • 1-2 years Customer service experience – Retail experience
  •  Availability Friday/Saturday nights
  •  Ability to lift 30 lbs
  •  Familiarity with the Second City
  •  Proficiency in MS suite applications

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Stocking Merchandise at the box office and kiosks
  •  Selling merchandise both in the box office and at kiosks
  •  Selling tickets for walk up patrons at the box office
  •  Printing tickets for will call at the box office
  •  Providing a friendly customer experience as the face of the Second City

Previous box office experience is preferred and experience with CRM and/or Patron Manager is a plus.
