Position Summary:

A Bartender will be in charge of his or her section behind the bar. Pouring beer, wine and mixing cocktails for guests and creating a lively environment for their guests. Candidates will be responsible for building a culture based around Teamwork, Execution and Hospitality. They will be participating in all day to day operations and operating with positivity. We are looking for passionate industry professionals.  The ideal candidate for this position must be available to work two of the three weekend nights per week and should be flexible to adjust as needed.  This is a fast paced, high volume position as theater guests will arrive and order within a small window of time.  Special events happen regularly in the theaters, which may coincide with regular service.  Only candidates that thrive in a busy environment should apply.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Should have at least 2 years of full-service, high volume Bartending experience
  • Should have in depth knowledge of food, wine, beer and liquors
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to Bartend
  • Is able to communicate positively and efficiently
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Respectful and remains calm under pressure
  • Is organized, efficient and able to maintain a clean work environment
  • Must have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts on our business

 

Other Functions:

  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the business as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Complying with health and food safety standards, restocking items, cleaning procedures
  • Operating the cash register, answering the phone, providing great customer service, and following Fifty/50 Restaurant Group policies & procedures
  • Be a positive, upbeat, and personable person at all times while working.
  • Be able to stay calm and collected in what could be a stressful environment at times

 

Physical Functions:

  • Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as needed.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and able to lift and carry 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.
  • Work in both warm and cool environments
  • High levels of noise from music, customer and employee traffic.
  • Must be able to tolerate potential allergens:  peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
  • Maneuver dark theaters with lit walkways/staircases

 

Qualifications, Education and Behavior:

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year serving experience
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to properly handle a knife, confidently.
  • Ability to work daytime and nighttime shifts that may last into the later hours of the night.
  • Weekend availability is necessary
  • Ability to work a consistent schedule at least 4 days per week.

 

Compensation Information: USD $10.65 plus tips
