Position Summary  

The Virtual Production Coordinator is responsible for the setup and maintenance of the virtual classroom spaces as well as accommodating the faculty and crew shows and classes. Along with general virtual setup, the Production Coordinator also assists with administrative tasks. This is a Full-Time position (35-40 hours/week) with Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental benefits. Most of the working hours will take place in the evenings and on weekends.


Administrative Duties  

  • Virtual classroom set up: Zoom Room access and building of virtual spaces for students and teachers
  • Create Zoom links for classes and maintain calendar
  • Create class folders (rosters, curriculum, etc.) for teachers
  • Communicate class links and any class updates to students
  • Serve as first-contact to assist faculty or students entering the virtual space.
  • Create and distribute class announcements
  • Schedule teachers with assistance of Artistic Director.
  • Assist teachers on opening their virtual classrooms
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed.
  • Find subs for teachers missing classes (if necessary)



  • Friendly and personable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Informative, patient, and eager sense of initiative to solve problems.
  • Efficiency in finishing projects.
  • Demonstrated history of dependability and punctuality.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite, and comfortable with all basic computer functions, Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Enthusiastic about improv, sketch comedy, and the Chicago theatre scene.
