Tita Jokes is a Filipinx-focused musical sketch revue. The show revolves around the womxn in our lives like our aunts, moms, daughters, and partners. We will get to see their struggles and heartaches, but also how they cope through comedy and songs. This show was a recipient of the Sketch Comedy Project Fund, a project of the Pat and Tony Adams Freedom Fund for the Arts.
Tita Collective is an all Filipina collective of multi-disciplinary artists based in Toronto: they are playwrights, comedians, musicians, dancers, theatre makers and actors. They like to explore different mediums to tell their story, the narrative of the Filipinx diaspora. Individually they are: AP Bautista (Disenchanted US Tour), Belinda Corpuz (Prairie Nurse), Isabel Kanaan (CBC's Air Farce), Alia Rasul (NBC Universal Bob Curry Fellowship), and Maricris Rivera (A New World Being Born).
