Guest Performance
These non-Second City productions are original works created and produced by guest performers and ensembles. With limited runs, these performances allow for complete creative freedom and may feature artists of any experience level.
Rated R
The Second City gives every show a rating to help patrons understand if content is appropriate for younger audiences. We welcome all guests 13 years of age and older, but minors must be accompanied by an adult. R rating is due to language and inneundo. Our shows take place in a night club atmosphere where alcohol is served.
Stand-up
An always popular form in which a comedian performs their unique brand of comedy, usually with nothing more than a mic and their own courage. If you enjoy a rapid-fire night of jokes and stories, a stand-up show might be the perfect fit.

More about Paul
Paul Hutcheson is a comedic performer, storyteller and producer based in Toronto. He produces under Canuck Hutch Productions and has performed seven solo comedies which have toured Canada and the United States, playing to sold-out audiences and glowing reviews. The company also produces monthly comedy events, Hutch & Friends & Hutch’s Storytime in Toronto and recurring cabaret shows (Queerly Canadian, Canuck Cabaret) throughout Ontario and New York City.
He doesn’t do burlesque, but he strips off gay shame and makes new allies out of audience laughter and ridiculous physicality. Please visit canuckhutch.com for more information.
“Take Jim Carry’s physical antics and Napoleon Dynamite’s unconventional charm and you get Paul Hutcheson.” – Winnipeg Sun
“For those who like their men nervous and confessional (think David Sedaris rather than Woody Allen), get ready to propose.” -X-tra
