About The Show
Stories from the Beat Lounge is a monthly storytelling showcase featuring a combination of both seasoned, as well as more recent members of the Chicago storytelling community. The show's lineup consists of an array of subjects: from humorous to morose, adventurous to suspenseful, and anything in between. Like the stories themselves, no two showcases are the same.

1959 Kitchen + Bar | Share some small plates and try a few craft cocktails before the show! Located on the 2nd floor of Pipers Alley, seconds away from the theaters.
Visit our mini bar stations outside of Judy’s Beat Lounge on the 2nd Floor or Donny’s Skybox on the 4th floor for beer, wine, and cocktails before your show! There is no drink minimum at any of our theaters.

The Second City provides accessible parking and seating at every performance. Parking is available at 230 W. North Ave. in Piper’s Alley Self Park. Each theater is equipped with wheelchair accessible and/or companion seats.
Assistive listening devices, elevator assistance, large print materials, seat assistance, and access for service animals are also available upon request.
