Second City and Hubbard Street Dance’s Collaboration is Set for a Remount

“The Art of Falling,” Hubbard Street Dance Company’s universally acclaimed 2014 collaboration with The Second City, will return to the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph, for its summer program set for June 9-12, 2016.

Helmed by Jeff Award–winning director Billy Bungeroth, and involving the largest creative team in Hubbard Street’s history (more than 30 performers), “The Art of Falling” played to sold out houses last fall. Written by Tim Mason (with Carisa Barreca, T. J. Jagodowski, Kate James, Chris Redd and the casts of The Second City), it was choreographed by Alejandro Cerrudo, Lucas Crandall, Jonathan Fredrickson, Terence Marling and Robyn Mineko Williams. And it raised the barre in the most unexpected ways for both Chicago institutions. Read more here.
