In this three week workshop, learn to get out of your head and into your body by bringing more physicality to your improv work. Learning to use the environment, characters and feeling comfortable in your own skin to release you from “being in your head” and will unlock a doorway to scene work that is more spontaneous, effortless and fun.

About the instructor: Jonathan Browning currently teaches Advanced Long Form Improvisation at AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in Hollywood. In Chicago, he was a company member of the Annoyance Theatre and performed in dozens of original pieces as well as “Coed Prison Sluts” and “What Every Girl Should Know…An Ode to Judy Blume”. In Los Angeles, he was part of Robot Doctors, the first UCB LA Harold Team, and The IO West House Team, Saucebox. He has been teaching improv for over twenty years and believes that it can be one of the purest forms of spontaneity in art and in life.
