This course is your opportunity to step into a Virtual Writing Room led by an experienced script writer and collaborate with a talented group of aspiring writers to get your script, pilot-ready. Whether you’ve written a comedy concept independently, this eight-week Virtual Writing Room will give you the forum to refine your story structure, outline and character development so you can produce that dreaded first draft.
Each week, you’ll receive valuable script analysis and coverage from the Virtual Writing Room’s showrunner so your pilot is pitch-ready. Live Conferences with the teacher and class will be held every Monday 6pm-9pm CST time. Students must be able to meet at those times and have Adobe/Flash updated.
The Virtual Writing Room isn’t for the casual writer – be prepared for regular re-writes, quick turn-arounds and constructive criticism from your show runner and fellow writers. If you have the confidence to fail, the dedication to push your ideas and the strength to leave the tears at home, this course is for you!
