Chill Comedy Camp (Ages 14-18)

Level: 1

Chill Comedy Camp will offer a calm, easy-going environment to explore improv at your own pace. We believe that you are the expert in what makes you the most at-ease in your life. We encourage you to let us know what you need so that you can enjoy the improv experience as comfortably as possible! Bring your fidgets, headphones, blankets, cozy chairs or whatever you want to keep CHILL while discovering fun ways to let loose and get creative with improv comedy games. This is a judgment-free zone, and all different types of learners are encouraged to check out this space if this sounds like a good fit for you.

This camp might be a good fit for you if you connect with any of the following:

  • If you want to try improv comedy but without pressure to perform.
  • If you want to connect with others, but have sensory needs that may make loud games or spaces overwhelming.
  • If you want to explore connection with other students in a safe, supportive environment with tips and ideas from the instructor.
  • If you benefit from visual schedules, demonstrations, timers, longer processing time, or any other strategies to support your brain with engaging.
  • If you want a space where your boundaries are respected and honored. Examples of boundaries could be that you don’t like to shake hands, or you don’t like to talk about certain topics because they cause you stress.
  • If you believe in the platinum rule: Treat others the way that they want to be treated.
  • If you want a chill space where you can learn with fellow chill humans.
