The Second City is excited to host our General Auditions for 2024 on April 8th, April 9th, April 10th with Callbacks on April 12th. We are seeking talent to cast as understudies for the Chicago Touring Company and potential upcoming Theatricals projects.
You must be a graduate of an improv and sketch comedy institution (i.e. The Second City Conservatory, iO, UCB, The Pit, The Magnet, The Annoyance Theater, etc.) to be considered for an audition slot. Improv and sketch comedy experience is a plus. If offered the role of understudy, you must reside in Chicago, IL. We do not pay a relocation fee.
To submit, send your headshot and resume between Friday March 1st, starting at 9:00am CST, until Monday March 4th, ending at 9:00am CST.
Any submissions sent before or after the times designated above will not be considered.
If you have conflicts with these dates, there will be another round of auditions in 2025. Those dates are to be determined.
