Chris New is a musical director, composer, and writer. He has been with the Second City Training Centre since 2010. Some of his past credits for Second City as a musical director include "Miracle on Mercer St.", "The Bench", "The Absolutely Positively Completely Made-Up Show" and "Second City goes BOOM!". He is also the Co-Host and musical director of the weekly variety show “Naked Fridays” at the John Candy Box Theatre. Chris has played for many shows across the Toronto improv community including "The Soaps", "Theatresports", "Beerprov", "Troubadour", "Filthy", "Wheel of Improv", "Special Features", "PB&J", and "Team Awesome." Chris is also producing and scoring video sketch as a member of "VCR". Chris has scored for both theatre and film, most notably the Canadian Comedy Award nominated film "Chère".
