Trust Your Gut

This class will pull you out of your head and throw you into your gut - the place where instincts live. Through grounded scene work, and precise side-coaching, this class will ask students to make the honest, emotional choices that are the stuff of truly inspiring improvisation. If you're preparing for Conservatory, this class will provide you with exactly what the program requires: improvisers who can play real people. If you're focusing on long-form or game-of-the-scene techniques, this course is the perfect complement so you can play truthful characters within your complex narratives. Conservatory grads will enjoy a return to straight-up, grounded, scene-based improv, and those who have been away from improv for a while will find this class perfect for knocking off the rust and jumping back in.

Prerequisite: Level E, Conservatory 1 (or the equivalent)
