The Improvisation Program

Explore the art of improvisation through 5 levels. If you are looking to improve audition skills, hone your creative & presentational skills, learn some basic theatrical and improvisational concepts through improvisation, and generally have a good time, this program is for you!

Levels are progressive, and therefore must be taken consecutively. Classes are offered once a week (2.5 hour classes run for 8 weeks, 3 hour classes run for 7 weeks)  Classes are offered 7 days a week on weeknights and weekends. Once you choose your class you will attend on the same day & time each week during that term. Levels A, B, C are also offered in an intensive format.

All 5 levels introduce and explore the following:

• Improv terminology (i.e. offers, blocking, "yes and")
• Development of a sense of "play"
• Spontaneity and focus
• Listening skills
• Accepting
• Teamwork

Each level also has its own area of focus.

Tuition: $290.00 +HST; $260.00 +HST Early Registered All Adult Intensives are $290.00+HST unless otherwise posted.

Level A

• Introduction to the above fundamentals, also an introduction to scene basics, location work, emotions.

Level A Intensive

Complete the Level A course over two weekends or one week.

Level B REGISTER

• Jump into the world of environment and object work. Level B is the second Level of our 5 level improvisation program. In this level you will focus on creating the environment around you.

Level B Intensive

• Complete the Level B course over two weekends or one week.

Level C REGISTER

• Before you learn WHAT's on second, you have to know WHO'S on first! Level C explores the who of the scene. Develop different characters and learn the importance of status. This is the third Level of our 5 Level Improvisation Program.

Level C Intensive

• Complete the Level C course over two weekends or one week.
