Martin Garcia started his improv career in Austin, TX in the late 1980’s working for ComedySportz. He moved to Chicago in 1994 studying at the Improv Olympic, The Annoyance and The Second City Conservatory in Chicago. He was hired by The Second City in November 1995 beginning by touring for 2 ½ years with The Second City National Touring Company. He then wrote and performed in 3 revues in The Second City ETC Theatre receiving Best Actor nominations for his first 2 revues. On The Second City Mainstage he wrote and performed in 3 more shows. He performed in Las Vegas and on cruise ships for The Second City and recently directed an all Latino Second City revue, which was performed in Miami. Martin’s TV credits include “Early Edition” (remember that show?) and E.R. He recently filmed an independent film entitled "Los Scavengers" and was proud to write and perform his first one-man show entitled Martin Garcia: It's a One-Man Show . . . for a Reason at The Second City Hollywood Studio Theatre. Martin Garcia performs improv with the group Pool Party and can be seen on The Second City Network performing in a short video called BANG!, which he also wrote.
