Rebekah Walendzak is an actor, writer and director living in Los Angeles, CA. She currently teaches online comedy writing allowing students to share in the Second City experience regardless of their distance from Chicago. Recent television credits include the TV pilot Morally Casual, as well as Fast Suzy in Comcast’s "Straight Shooter" commercial series featuring Dennis Farina. In Chicago, Rebekah co-founded Bare Boned Theatre, serving three seasons as Artistic Director. While at BBT, she co-created and was head writer for BBT’s The Ville, Chicago’s only live LGBT soap opera. She has co-written the plays Husband & Life and The Hecubae and has directed and appeared in numerous theatrical, sketch comedy and improv productions around Chicago and California.
