Spike Kunetz has been teaching writing and improvisation at the Training Center since 1997. He has taught workshops at places such as The Omega Center, The Crossings, and The Playground. He has written sketch comedy for stage and video, and penned eight plays, including Another Tricky Day and I Spent a Week in St. Louis One Night. He performed with Chicago's venerable improv troupe Sheila for eight years, has acted in numerous plays and short films, and has appeared in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the Chicago Improv Festival, the Chicago Fringe Festival, and the Chicago Lyric Opera. Directing credits include BS, Hour Town, the musicals Earth To Margaret and A Lesbian in the Pantry, Patriautism and Octasketch at Chicago Sketchfest, and over twenty-five sketch comedy revues.
